The Manufacturers Association's Youth Apprenticeship Program

The Youth Apprenticeship Program develops the pipeline for the next generation of advanced manufacturing professionals while they are still in high school. Through classroom and on-the-job training, the Youth Apprenticeship Program creates young, skilled workers as you grow your workforce and replace your retiring subject matter experts.

Youth Apprenticeship Bridges the Gap

Employers: Do you need to fill in-deman manufacturing jobs?

Students: Do you enjoy hands-on work or want to explore career options?

Educators: Do you have students looking for an alternate career pathway?

The Youth Apprenticeship Program is right for you!

Through this program, employers open their doors to students seeking modern manufacturing experience. Students can complete job shadows, paid internships, part-time employment, and possibly earn college credits. The program can provide a jumpstart to a NYS Registered Apprenticeship when the individual turns 18.
